Installed behind the rocker panel pinch weld lip, these rails multi-task by adding strength and stiffness to your Mustangs chassis as well as providing a safe and solid foundation for your jack. Pre-masked areas for welding means no powder coat to grind away, for a quick and easy installation! A must for all track and lowered cars!
NOT required on ‘79~’93 convertibles which came with factory installed
stiffening supports ("Z" rails) along the rocker box.
- Manufactured of 1 x 1.5 x .083 rectangular tubing for great strength-to-weight ratio.
- Increases chassis stiffness and strength for improved handling.
- Provides a safe, solid and convenient location for your jack.

Jacking rails

Directions are a little lacking. Not that they aren't detailed or make sense. The confusing part was it says they are side specific and directional specific but the powder coating tape d area told me something else. Otherwise it is a 1x2" brace powder coated with taped area for welding. Install is straight forward. had to adjust install method, maybe I got 2 driver side pieces in my box. They are going to be the same besides the powder coated area should vary, Will continue to use Stiffler products
